In 2022 I started to make miniature artworks with a feminist theme in response to call outs from The House of Smalls as the feminist themes of the exhibitions held here resonated with my practice. I am drawn to the dollhouse for its domestic connotations and these miniature artworks act as maquettes for future full-scale artwork and offer me a way to explore new themes quickly. I am always amazed how 'full- sized" the tiny artwork look when they are photographed in situ.
